Preparation
Wash the apples, cut them horizontally in slices about ½ cm (a fifth of an inch) thick and remove the seeds.

Make a small hole in the apple slice with a toothpick and put a piece of ribbon through it, make a knot and add a cinnamon stick and a piece of star anise, tie another knot. Repeat for the remaining slices. Your decorations are ready and all that’s left to do is hang them!
